
Whether they have fur, feathers, or fins ... they are good for us. And here are ten reasons why:
1। Pets cheer us up.
2। They energize, calm, and relax us. (That's three, but I'll count it as one.)
3। They help us adjust to losses in our life.
4। They provide unconditional love which gives us a sense of worth and responsibility.
5। We tend to exercise more when we have pets, especially dog owners.
6। Pets help us heal and even tend to be our therapists.
7। They decrease our chances of having heart attacks, believe it or not.
8। Petting an animal can lower our blood pressure and heart rate.
9। They make us laugh.
10. They alleviate loneliness.
